This session is designed to provide the learner with a practical approach to the prescription of resistance exercise. Resistance training is becoming increasingly popular, but in many cases the exercise prescription is based on tradition rather than biomechanics and physiology. This session will review common errors in the resistance exercise prescription and also provide the learner with practical information to enable them to design an appropriate resistance training prescription.
