This session will explore historical concepts of neuroplasticity as it relates to evolution of chronic pain based on review of landmark studies, then explore emerging concepts in measurement of chronic pain and neuroplastic changes through functional MRI, and finally explore a rehabilitative approach to chronic pain that take advantage of neuroplasticity.
